Kids First North

Kids First is a program that helps families to become the best parents they can be and to have the healthiest children possible. The Mamawetan Churchill River Health Region is a partner in this initiative. The region provides prenatal referral and support; in-hospital screening; breastfeeding support and encouragement; assessment; and home visiting services in La Ronge.

Through Mental Health, we partner to provide a mental health and addictions Team and Family Counsellor to KFN families and staff in the communities of La Ronge, Sandy Bay and Pinehouse.
